Friday February 23, 2007-  Well here I go, I will do my best to keep you all up to speed with what's going on out here in Oregon.  Today is my third day on the job.  It has been amazing, so many new things, so many new opportunities.  Things have been crazy the last year, particularly the last several months.  The staff here at YD have done an awesome job at introducing me to things and I certainly feel like I have all the help I will need to quickly figure out and transition into my new position as staff manager.  The first day I was shown my very own desk, chair and computer...yikes this is a scary one as I have either worked out of my car or been highly mobile in my work.  The restroom is a nice walk across the campgrounds where our offices are located so I will be taking frequent get up and out trips :)  Today has been my first day to settle in, the last two have been orientation and much passion discussion of the ministry, who we are and how we are trying to shine for Christ in every way we can.
